For me, becoming a tattoo artist never seemed like an attainable reality - just a cool dream that sat in the back of my head. In fact, I'm still really not sure how I got to this point; sometimes, I think it was just fate. Although I loved art and spent all my free time drawing (yeah, I was that kid in class), I had so many other plans for my life and my main focus was on my academics. After several injuries, I had to face the fact that my dream of getting a college gymnastics scholarship was never going to happen, and my heart was broken. Then, after pouring my heart and soul into the 4 year veterinary academy at my high school, I decided that field wasn't for me, either. After graduating, I prepared to attend Flagler college to study forensic science - but dropped out last minute and decided to attend makeup school instead, since that was a huge passion of mine and I realized I needed to do something art related. Turns out, making your hobby into your job just makes you hate your hobby. I felt defeated; like there just wasn't a job out there for me. But then, I scored a tattoo apprenticeship. I was (and still am) captivated by not only the beautiful artwork that could be created, but also the medical side of tattooing. From the moment I did my very first tattoo, I fell head over heels in love with everything about tattooing. I've worked on so many different canvases and mediums in my life, but nothing compares. It's magical. Today, I specialize in blackwork, dot shading, and fine lines. I also thoroughly enjoy and would love to do more creepy-cute style tattoos with black and pastel colors. I have always been a perfectionist and spare no effort in my attention to detail. I strive to give my clients not only the best tattoo possible, but also the best experience possible, and thrive on creating unique, one-of-a-kind pieces you will enjoy for a lifetime ♡
